I think HV57-59 & HV64-66 are staying at EC for the 158. Last I checked they have not been on the 158 for a while and I have not seen one, so 158 seems to be doing fine with full DW operation for last month or so. LVF is down for me so cant confirm. Not just you it seems, I cannot access LVF either.

Interestingly more Gemini 2 HVs from the 50 have started returning to the 50, there’s around 6-8 HVs in use today and at one point the 50 was nearly fully ES, so I wonder if the 64 may actually be gaining its own batch but that does beg the question of what the 217 will use beyond Saturday if this is the case. They might as well use the T's from the 64? This is precisely the plan. They will be moved to Norwood then a select amount will transfer to Route 217.

Those Ts shouldn’t go anywhere but the bin, and they’re going to 217 of all routes 😂. I thought it’d make more sense to just move some of the newer ESs to the 50 and keep HVs on the 217

Those Ts shouldn’t go anywhere but the bin, and they’re going to 217 of all routes 😂. I thought it’d make more sense to just move some of the newer ESs to the 50 and keep HVs on the 217 I agree the 50s anyways meant to use ESs and 64 can use the 50s allocated buses instead

They’re all going to end up at TH eventually anyways

They are mainly used as spares for 259/N279 given the LTs there only fit 259s PVR.

Good afternoon, I want to officially announce, the 64 will be fully ES run from Saturday 17th August. They are nearly done with connecting up the chargers. Is the N279 going to be crosslinked to another route when it moves?
I have seen the discussion here but do wonder if it will use electrics once in service ? Can it not use the buses off the daytime 279?

Can it not use the buses off the daytime 279? The N279 would likely end up crosslinked to the 279 when its Electroliners eventually come - I think the contract was awarded with the 279's Electroliners anyway, and the move to E makes that seem almost completely certain.

The day time 279 buses are standard enviro 400s, which goes against the Central London ULEZ, which is why it transferred to EC last minute as 259s HVs were a compliant fleet, back in 2019. I did suggest some of 307s buses, or the 313/349 LTs and some of the EC G2 HVs can come to E and crosslink the day 279 in order to form service on N279 while 279s Electroliners turn up.

I think it will end up going to TH using a mix of the Electroliners already there on the 24th or even this weekend.

About 5 Ex Stagecoach Gemini 3s now at AR, is it to release buses earlier to GY, I know AD have a lot of surplus HVs currently and there’s a few 17 reg not used in a few weeks.
