I've never experienced a T hotter than a LT personally. Nothing beats a Gemini in the hot weather for a cool bus IMO I'd take an LT over a T any day of the week, and a Gemini, especially if they are Arriva operated. I still can't get my head around what people's issue are with LT's, it seems to be that if it ain't boxy looking or a Scania then, in general, it won't be liked. Looks are subjective so we'll leave that to one side - they are too hot, they aren't particularly comfortable and they are rather dingy inside. Take the RM which was a massive reference point for the LT and it doesn't have these problems and I'm far from the biggest fan of RM's either. Most T's or Enviro 400's in general are ok in hot weather and, seat dependent, are ok comfort wise. They are also a lot more bright and welcoming inside - biggest issue is the plastic seats on the early ones at the rear and the plastic seats at the front upstairs

LT596 crashed into a theatre on the 19. LTs are so common when it comes to crashes. Not worst than the crash in a bike shop.

I keep seeing messages saying the 198 HAs are going to Norwood this Saturday. I can confirm this is not happening yet, managers are not even sure when it is happening. Will keep you updated

Realistically they are too long for London’s roads Yet 100s of 13-14m coaches successfully trundle the streets of London without incident.

LTs are some of the best buses I’ve driven personally. Very smooth, light steering, suspension is amazing, but the best thing about them is the braking system, you can decelerate from 50mph to 0 very rapidly but smoothly.

Personally I’ve had no issues driving LTs.

Yeah I accept it’s probably isn’t the main factor. But the lengths of them have posed isolated issues before, it was the ultimate reason for their demise on the 91

Nowhere else needs DWs… The Dartford ones seem to be super quick, especially considering the hills they tackle. Could do with that turn of speed on the 217 as those T's won't last forever
