Well spotted, although Stagecoach may well be first to get the first TfL new-gen E400EVs on the road as the 17 examples they’ve ordered for the SL3 came first Depending on what happens between now and March Route SL6 could actually be the 1st. I doubt N will get electrified before TB imo

Yep just a waiting game now. For selfish reasons, I’d like it if Croydon had the first new E400EVs in London!

Either way both Routes 196 & SL6 serve the London Borough of Croydon. Stagecoach may well be the 1st to introduce the E100 as well. It will be interesting to know what the SL1 & SL6 are actually assigned…EE1-12, ED1-12 hmm 🤔.

It's been reported that some of Brixton's EAs and ESs are getting charged at Go Ahead's Camberwell Garage Rather sporting of GAL to let Arriva use their chargers! I'm sure it's just a business arrangement.

Not that it matters, but I am surprised Arriva haven't used the code "EB" for either the BD11s (ED) or BZLs (EZ). My guess would be for a clear distinction between both of them. The people that work with the vehicles might say, ‘oh go and get that BZL over there’ but then confuse it with the BYD because they’ve got ‘EB’ in their head. It will stop any mis-connotation of someone thinking it’s the other type The thing I’m most surprised at is the EE. The ‘T’ distinction has associated with full ADL products, so I’m surprised they didn’t continue that here using ET with the new ADL E400EV. Now the next big thing is what TC is going to get with their large pool of awarded EVs. (Please no more Electroliners please!!! I’ll take anything but those😂)

Rather sporting of GAL to let Arriva use their chargers! Sure GAL will be making a profit on it rather than sporting. Rather sporting of GAL to let Arriva use their chargers! I'm sure it's just a business arrangement. Yes I’m sure you’re both right, GAL would only have let them use Q if it was financially beneficial to them

Though, I could be wrong! In my opinion though, I'm hoping to see some BZLs at TC!

I'm still interested in riding one at some point but I'm no fan of it aesthetically.

I appreciate the Electroliners aren’t the most exciting bus anymore but anything that keeps the BD11s out of Croydon is a win in my opinion
