Doubt it will be off road long ... seems to have driven into a tree rather than it falling on it. New glass in the front and a touch up, would expect it to be back pretty quickly. Unless the tree sprung up in the middle of the road the tree fell onto the bus. The tree blew down as the bus was passing it and fell onto it. Go and watch the video. I watched it, the tree fell in front of it. If it fell on it there would be roof damage. All damage is to the front of the bus. The tree was lying in the road when the impact occurred.

Yeah maybe give like a month or 2 Probably not much more than a replacement windscreen and a few scratches. There's a picture of the aftermath of that crash of the bus on twitter. I don't know if I would be allowed to share it on here as it's not mine, but yes the front glass of the bus is severely shattered, front left mirror gone and the bumper of the bus has gone, the body of the actual bus seems fine.

You can share anything off twitter, it's in the public domain. I've seen a photo of the bus and it looks bad but probably just the windscreen, destination box glass and top deck front window replacement and bodywork, probably no structural damage. EH312 has also been VOR for a few weeks.

SEN16 caught fire on route 469 earlier today. We get all sorts of definition of fire on here. Are we talking flame, or smoke/steam?

I saw SE217 yesterday at Woolwich Arsenal Station (L) with an open motor part; presumably the motor had overheated.

That’s the 3rd H91 LT VOR now. Can’t say ML will be too pleased with their repair bill, when loads other stuff long term VOR or only recently back on the road from other smash ups.

At a reported 16k a glass staircase window this looks pricey. Route has been littered with substitutes so won’t make much of a difference day to day.

Nicely done smashing up two consecutively numbered LTs in the same accident! In all seriousness I hope everyone concerned came off okay and without injury. Looks like we’re seeing quite a few conventionals on the H91 now in place of the VOR LTs

That makes it even worse if indeed 4 LTs VOR. 😐 Don’t know exactly what caused those smash ups, but totally forgot there how cursed those New Routemasters are for being involved in RTCs. Hope indeed there were no serious injurious. If indeed 16k a pop for a new glass staircase window, that is indeed frustrating, more so when that money could be ringfenced elsewhere. At least can easily substitute worse case with short term loans via W if needed.
