I think that could be a true figure nationally.

As long as drivers are still travelling in ferry minibuses together, this will continue. Some councils are only allowing the driver of rubbish lorries in the cab, with the helper in a different vehcile following behind.
Bus companies do not care about drivers. What is interesting is that, afaiaa, no tubes drivers have died-thank god.

As already mentioned on a previous thread to your comments, you come into contact with other people at driver changover, lunch breaks, and the commute home. You just dont magically teleport inside a bus. Stop being annoying and get your facts right. Are you a bus driver, if not you simply cant comment on their experience. End of.

We get it you don't like tube drivers but the facts are clear anyone can catch Coronavirus It's simply not true to say that drivers are immune because their work is done alone. BusesInLondon has stated just a few reasons on how tube drivers can catch it.

Just simply pointing out they have less chance simply due to NO interaction or sharing of space with the public unlike bus drivers.

I personally don't want to drive a bus in full hazmat suit. Deep cleaning won't exactly fix the issue either because it will only benefit first driver of the day...in reality drivers should keep the bus for the whole of duty, once it's back in garage the cab gets sprayed with idk what kind of chemicals the chinese used to spray their streets to disinfect the disease and then be ready for the next driver...which is not going to happen because it requires too much effort.

This is very sad😢, I'm a bus driver myself and nobody deserves to loose their life. My condolences go out to the people that have lost their loved ones
