Route 15 used to run regularly via Albert Square in EastEnders but the service seems to have been cut in the last 10 years I believe the 22 used to go there as well. I also seem to remember a London Buses bus garage seen in the show's earlier years. There was an early episode of The Bill where the police were called to Westbourne Bus Garage¹ in relation to a drunk bus driver smashing up the depot then nicking a DMS bus where he eventually smashed it into somebody's front yard. The drunk was played by the same actor who plays Boycie in Only Fools and Horses. ¹ - not sure what the fictional garage name was If it was in The Bill, I'm guessing it was Sun Hill Bus Garage? That episode sounds like it would be unintentionally hilarious with Boycie getting sloshed and going on a double-decker joyride - I must look out for it!

As it goes it was the more humorous part of that episode. It could have been Sun Hill bus garage i suppose...but then again in the show's latter years Colliers Wood tube station if I remember correctly was referred to as Sun Hill East. EDIT: Here's a much later-era episode of The Bill where a Metrobus was somewhat reciting the 1994 movie Speed. As it's the full episode I'm afraid you'll have to forward accordingly unless you want to watch the whole episode youtu.be/6b04g225GSI

Sandra and Keanu definitely did it better! Some rather dodgy blinds too! Perhaps 'Canley' was the name of the bus garage in the other episode...?

I can't remember the last time I saw one of those, even in an old photo!

I remember another episode where the inside of Merton Garage was shown, presumably from 1990 onwards as that's when the production team had moved to Merton, not a million miles from the bus garage either.

Fictitious LBL subsidiary, Antelope Line - With its motley batch of Fleetlines & Titans, made numerous appearances in Londons Burning over the years: Series 8, episode 1 saw DMS2264, driven by Sid of Only fools & Horses fame, get highjacked by a group of yobs and driven into a low bridge. I believe that the actual DMS deroofed wasn't DMS2264. www.youtube.com/watch?v=woz4x2IKEdMSeries 10, episode 18, which was the big shout to end the series, saw T358 heading back to Wapping Garage, where fire erupted, destroying a number of DMS' www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC24n6eEWskKids TV show, Come Outside, featured UX's MA76, where Auntie Mabel leaves her dog pippin on a U9 and the dog ends up back at the garage. You get to see some brief glimpses on inside the garage, the bus wash and scroll of MA76's destination blind. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnWAJJUGo6w(Having watched that Come Outside, need to get another fix of MA1! hopefully, we'll get to see her out and about soon!)

There was an episode of 'The Sweeny' somewhere in season 2, it's on YouTube, called 'The Trojan Bus' where Patrick Mower & George Leyton, both with the worst Aussie accents you'll ever hear, steal a bus to carry out a robbery. The bus was RM3, SLT58, when first seen it shows 266 with a final destination of OLD FORD. When they steal it, George Leyton turns the back blind to show 'Private' The next time it's seen the back blind is now showing 52.going to West Kilburn. There are no doubt other errors.

I forgot about that episode having only seen it once. If I remember correctly that was one of the more humorous episodes.

Not forgetting the infamous episode when a bus was blown up on Lambeth Bridge for some film? Seem to remember tourists and residents were up in arms over it
