Seems like these will have a big impact on bus services.

One of the most stupid ideas I've ever seen personally - this basically says that low paid workers who rely on buses to enter the City are not welcome and that people must cram onto the tube instead, another showing of how planner shave no clue nowadays.

How else do you think social distancing is going to work in the city? I think you need to look at the bigger picture before branding people clueless.......and it's the same for everyone regardless of their rate of pay.

There is also a plan to close all roads outside schools during pick up times.
There simply is nobody in London doing anything remotely aimed at improving and restoring confidence in using public transport. It is cars from Boris, and walking and biking from Khan.
As I type I'm aboard a 388 crawling down Bishopsgate. Slow moving traffic. About 20 passengers on board. 75% masked. But nice and sread out. The emergency schedules might be hard to keep to today
The Stay At Home messages are still being played despite the message being changed on Sunday.

On further looking into this, City of London has said buses will have priority and are included in Tier 1 streets. diversions may be introduced to facilitate roads that become one way.

There are likely caveats for schools on major roads (major roads might have pavements extensions and carriageway narrowing. Cannot see a problem with this on roads that on residential roads. The key to confidence is probably seeing social distancing working half decently on social media and mainstream media. Whilst reports return of packed trains (a lot true), from people actually travelLing, journalist or paparazzi, it will deter public transport usage. On the City of London page it mentions a 15 mph limit! (probably only on tier 1 streets) so prepare for even slower journeys 😖 Just as the ibus caught up by having stop based ‘stay home’ announcement, the lockdown measures changed 😂. Judging by the rapid rate these messages have been produced, hopefully they will have an update as we continue.

The mayor only agreed to change it yesterday ... before that he was sticking to the original.

Especially an issue for some of the disabled as I wouldn’t expect they would like to walk down hundreds of steps down to platforms.

Just as an FYI, buses are not being cut as a result of this so the "low paid workers who rely on buses" will still be able to move around.
The measures do include some bus only areas (first through signage and later on through lights and bollards/wands) and the roads that are closing completely to all motorised traffic will have diversions put in place for bus routes.
For example routes 8,25,242,N8 will run via New Change, Cannon Street, Queen Vic St and King Will St due to the closure of Cheapside/Poultry. This is already being done due to long term gas works there so will just remain as is.
