274 back as an Ealing route please!  And bring back the 239 from Victoria to Clapham via Albert Bridge and Battersea  374 Romford to Harold Hill 251 back to Wood Green please from Southend  Goodness, 251 to Southend..? Now that's a long one! At least you'll get some thrash down the A127 I guess. |

How did you find the 25. Way too long or still manageable from Ilford to Holborn/Oxford Circus? Long enough  - in all seriousness, it wasn't so bad between Ilford & Aldgate, it was more the City & Oxford Street where time is sapped from traffic lights and congestion. It took a good 2 hours to do - Aldgate took a good time to pass through. You only did half the route it was Dagenham to Victoria !! |

I've changed the parameters from RT old to 1990.. Fair enough - I like to nominate the 109 as one I'd always loved to have done end to end as a kid and on a L or M in particular - only ever did the 109 between Brixton & Croydon. I don't remember ever riding the section between Brixton & Trafalgar Square as a kid though I do certainly remember taking a 159 under South London into Central during the red & cream branded RM era in the 90's. For years 109 was only route down Victoria Embankment a place now where coaches park up |

664 from Edgware to Hammersmith
557 from Chingford Mount to Liverpool Street
663 from Aldgate to Chadwell Heath

630 from West Croydon to 'Near Willesden Junction' - a spirited trolleybus ride over Mitcham Common beats Tramlink any day! (NOT knocking Tramlink by the way, but everything is relative.)

Was the service on the 29 from Victoria limited then? I think it was mostly Victoria to Wood Green and Mornington Crescent Station to Enfield although there were some end to the journeys. |
