N27 is the only night route that’s shorter than it’s daytime equivalent. 473 only TT route to enter South East London. 121 only route to have three words on both termini: Turnpike Lane Station and Enfield Island Village Not true about the N27, the night element of the 102 is also shorter than the day equivalent. The (N)102 only goes as far at Golders Green, day runs to Brent Cross.

The day route runs beyond the bus station, does a one way loop in service via King Street and Beadon Road before standing on Hammersmith Grove around the corner from the H&C line station. First stop towards Chalk Farm is outside the H&C line station before running to the bus station. The N27 starts and finishes in the bus station. One out of three is not bad 😆 *edit - actually zero out of three...as @busenthusiast56 pointed out, the N27 isn’t unique in being shorter than its daytime equivalent.

Not true about the N27, the night element of the 102 is also shorter than the day equivalent. The (N)102 only goes as far at Golders Green, day runs to Brent Cross. N97 is also shorter than 97! N97 goes nowhere near the daytime 97. Does that count?

The 102 also links Brent with Enfield. The 102 doesn’t enter Brent. Brent Cross is actually in Barnet pennine drive and claremont road are in brent and you are in brent as soon as you leave the bus station at brent cross then go in to barnet to go over the bridge then back in to brent

In order to enter Brent, it would have to run onto the A5 which it doesn't.

Yep, vjaska, your absolutely correct, Brent's eastern boundary runs along the A5, apart from that area around the Welsh Harp Reservoir, so the entire Brent Cross end of the 102 is in Barnet.

Another thread mentioned route E10. It was surely unique in having FIVE operators in the 10s - First, Metroline, Arriva, RATP then Abellio.

The 19A when it ran Tufnell Park to Hammersmith, crossed the Thames twice, once over Battersea Bdg, then over Putney Bridge. 45 in crew days also crossed the Thames twice , as did the 149 and 76 when they went to Victoria in crew days

The 45 was still doing so into its OPO days up til the early 90s.
