Still think its Harsh and would rather freedom passes were no longer valid on tube/mainline till end of the financial year then looked at again. Atleast it leaves the option of travelling for free on buses whereas under 18s have nothing now.

Sorry but that's not true , they do have something , they can pay...... lets stop this every under 18 is on the poverty line. Anyway lets not open that can of worms again.

Could say the same about over 60s. Many could be earning over 50k in top jobs but on their 60th birthday suddenly don't have to pay.

if so I think people are better off getting a train since its only 75p to go anywhere in the underground rather than pay 75p 3 times if your getting 3 buses
