As some will know, I moved out of London last week, and although I haven’t yet ridden any of their buses, my local bus operator is Faresaver of Chippenham. I understand they are family owned, so independent and not part of a national group
All the buses are painted white and mauve, so complete change from London Red
The fleet is 13 solos, 2007, 2011 and quite a few 15reg and 66 reg Plenty (about 30) of ADL E200s (various from 2008 - 2017), and mix of lengths, these seem to be majority of fleet I think a few of them might be ex-London, but until I unpack old LOTs fleetbooks not really sure
Seems to be about 9 double decks, a Gemini, 4 Volvo B7TL ALX400s and 4 Volvo B9TL Gemini2 These seem to appear on selected workings of the Chippenham-Bath X31 service (which has some 60mph single carriageway sections along A4 near Corsham, don’t yet know if this is normal, or because there are no school workings in August

There’s an entire enthusiast’s website on faresaverenthusiasts.weebly.com/A cursory glance there suggests ex. Arriva London VLW100 is with Faresaver, which spent most (all?) its London life at North London garages. Edit : several of the E200s appear to be ex. Metroline machines.

Indeed apart from the one that escaped to GY for the 66 which back then hadn't been absorbed into Arriva London North. I didn't get to ride loads being a South Londoner but did manage to ride a few including the very early ones on the 221 about 10-15 years ago
