The cycle of second hand buses in use by Ensignbus continues, this time ex TT DN33655, now numbered 901 seen working the extra on the Route 667. I'm guessing the ex VN's have moved on?

Does anyone know whether the peak-hour extras V300, V360, V376, V493 & VP12 will be operating next week ? Last week of term Some schools don’t finish until 22nd or 23rd July Originally TfL were looking at ending the V extras when restrictions were going to end in June, instead they got thinned (and most the non euroVI compliant buses got withdrawn). So looks like most of remaining extras will end in 2-3 weeks time. Seems rather unlikely they will bother to change them piecemeal in last few days.

If the extra was mainly put in place for a private school, not a state school, they may break up earlier in July. Therefore the V extra may not be needed. And of course TfL would bother to remove it, especially considering their terrible financial state. However, I don't think this is the case with any V extras, iirc.

I'm guessing the ex VN's have moved on? They are now part of the private hire fleet. Not exactly, 135/6/7/8/9 are all still available for school use but 135/8/9 have been repainted and converted to single door, 136/7 are still red and are awaiting conversion to fleet but at the moment we have so many sales buses that need to be converted that our own fleet is on the back burner, also due to increased Amazon demand, we require more fleet vehicles and 135/8/9 gives us 3 more LEZ compliant vehicles we can use, 901/2/3 are only temporary (Hence being in the 9XX) but I wouldn't mind them being a more permanent addition to the fleet, however, I can't see that happening.

Sorry it was mentioned in last month's Ensignbus sales thing.

Oh by the way I saw a picture of an open top converted Enviro500 branded for the 68, was it an old photo or is it actually joining the fleet? If so I really like the look of it
