I couldn't find a thread for reporting new 70-registration buses, so I'm starting one The first 70-reg bus to hit the road in public service is believed to be an ADL Enviro400 MMC registered YX70 OXX OKK, which is owned by Go North East and operated a public journey at 00.01 from Jarrow Bus Station on Tuesday 1st September. The bus was driven by CEO Martijn Gilbert and was taken out to the start of the route on trade plates. The bus is part of a £4.5million investment in new vehicles for the western part of the company's operation and the new vehicles will be launched in Consett on Friday 4th September. www.focustransport.org/2020/09/first-new-70-registration-plate-bus.htmlAccording to Oxford Chiltern Bus Page (28th August) Tappins Coaches of Didcot (part of the Weavaway Travel Group) is expecting YN70 YLX/YLY/YLZ, Scania K320IB4 Irizar coaches, but it is not known is these have entered service or even been delivered yet. www.oxford-chiltern-bus-page.co.uk/ Steve's Bus & Train page blog (1st September) reports YX70 DKF, an ADL Enviro200 MMC which has been delivered to East Anglian independent Borderbus and apparently has improved suspension. busandtrain.blogspot.com/2020/09/new-route-new-operator-new-bus-new-hope.html

Saw a 70 reg Falcon bus in Kingston yesterday Falcon have four 70-plate short Enviro 200 MMCs - YX70 OKU/V/W/Z. U/V carry ‘Epsom’s Premier Bus Company’ branding to join YX20 OCY/Z on Epsom routes E5, E16 and 408. W carries route 461 Kingston to St Peter’s Hospital branding, joining the five 68-plates following the hospital extension which has bumped the PVR up by one. Z carries the ‘Flapship’ livery variant, but without any specific route branding.

Pulham's (Pulham & Sons Coaches Ltd.) of Bourton-on-the-Water, Oxfordshire, placed BB70 BUS, a Volvo B8LRE/MCV eVoRa into service on 1st September. It operated route 19 (Witney-Carterton) that day and has also been seen on route 15 (Witney-Abingdon) which the company took on from 1st September. Pulham's also has CC70 BUS. LondonsTransport Google Group has confirmed that the recent deliveries of E200 MMCs to RATP (K1) and E400 MMCs to Abellio (270, 285) and Stagecoach (425) all received their booked 20 plates, even though not all were in service by 1st September. Arriva's HT1-11 for route 202 also have 20 plates, so it looks like the first 70 plates for TfL services will be HT12-17 also for route 202.

Some more 70-reg: Diamond Bus Northwest has at least one 70-registered Wright Streetdeck in service, MX70 ANV was photographed in service on route 163 (Manchester-Bury) twice on Friday 4th September, apparently its first day in service. Go North East has Wright Streetdeck NX70 BYR, this was photographed at Washington Depot alongside an unregistered example and may not be in service yet. The Globe Holidays E200 MMCs have gained blue stripes and fleetnames and have been photographed on Barnsley route 198. www.flickr.com/groups/14749591@N23/

Some more 70-plates, courtesy of LondonsTransport Googlegroups (Bus News, week 12/09/20)
Delaine of Bourne, Lincolnshire, put AD70 DBL, an 11.8m ADL Enviro200 MMC, into service on 9th September. It works routes 101/102 between Peterborough, The Deepings, Bourne and Morton.
Hams Travel of Wadhurst, Sussex, has DW70 HAM, an 11.5m ADL Enviro400 MMC for contract and private hire work.
Bay Travel of Cowdenbeath has SK70 BVR, a 10.9m ADL Enviro200 MMC for local services - this registration follows on immediately from the sequence allocated to Arriva London's HT12-28 (bearing in mind that SK70 BVQ would not be issued).
Go South West is about to receive a large number of ADL Enviro200 MMCs of varying lengths for the Transport for Cornwall network, many retain their booked 20-plates but 31 10.9m examples (2430-2460) are due to have 70-plates. Also receiving 70-plates will be 5008-5024, 10.9m ADL Enviro400 City for Transport for Cornwall.
Several 10.8m Yutong E10 electric buses have been given YX70 C** registrations, nine are due to First West Yorkshire and Go North East has also ordered nine.
