According to the article, the longest bus route in the world currently is from Lima to Rio de Janeiro, a measly 6,200 kms.
I remember there used to be coach routes from London to Athens which took four days, although passengers usually had to change coaches in Germany.

There used to be one from London to a city in India, but I think it ceased due to issues with borders and other legal issues. I suppose this one is a revival! However, it may be unpopular due to planes being available, but planes are much more costlier, I suppose time will tell.
