I've done end to end on the Jubilee, Northern Bakerloo, Waterloo and City, Circle, Central, Hammersmith and City, District and Victoria lines. I still need to go to Heathrow 5 on the Piccadilly line and go to Amersham and Chesham on the Metropolitan Line and then it is complete. It will always haunt me that I didn't get to go to the original Shoreditch station before it's closure in 2006. Your coverage is very much similar to mine except that on top of Heathrow Terminal 5 and the original Shoreditch I've not done the Central Line on the bits via Grange Hill and west beyond South Ruislip.

The Grange Hill bit I was able to do by getting a train that was going to Woodford via Hainault. My goodness that was a long journey. It's even longer now that's its mostly a shuttle service from Hainault. The original Shoreditch station I was in my mid teens when it closed and when I go past it on the Overground it's still not the same. Now I can only go by pictures. Also to add as well. The original Island Gardens and Mudchute stations on the DLR I couldn't do either which upsets me when it closed in 1999

Chesham is a lovely ride - one to do in the better weather. Yes to get the full affect of the Chesham stretch a sunny day is nice as opposed to a cloudy day. Agree. It’s similar to some picturesque bus routes which you should So on a sunny day rather than cloudy / rainy days

Similarly to regrets about the old Shoreditch I also regret not riding the Central Line when that still had the shuttle service to Ongar.

I doubt it. It was uneconomical to operate, and has now been converted into a heritage railway. The bus connection between Ongar, North Weald and Epping Station is adequate for the demand that there is.

Today I did Aldgate to Uxbridge on the Metropolitan line in one sitting. I was cycling to Tower Bridge sort of area today but it was really cold so i decided to eat lunch at Pret a Manger in Aldgate. I then decided it was too cold to cycle back so I took the Metropolitan line home.
Full journeys in one sitting: Central line West Ruislip to Epping (16 July 2021) Metropolitan line Aldgate to Uxbridge (today)

Ironically, there was a time when I considered Pret a Manger a more integral part of central London than Arriva buses, but not anymore. It even felt odd not using Pret on my couple of days in London in August but never mind.

Done almost all of the Underground lines now. Just have T4 on the Piccadilly Line next when that reopens and the Metropolitan line's Chesham, Amersham branches and West Harrow off the Uxbridge branch
