All the routes in my area are basically struggling, especially if driver does follow social distancing procedure, if not then yeah people just get on the overcrowded 40+ people bus and then complain why it's full...smh.

I just find it funny people think the 238 can be withdrawn like that, it's got one of London's highest pax/mile ratios. These people haven't seen Stratford bus station in the peaks The issue with the 45 is its obviously short nature which makes people think it's an easy target. I think it should be seen more as a route to extend somewhere rather than a route that should be withdrawn. I think it's more to do with the fact that it's almost entirely duplicated by the 35 and most suggested extensions just seem to be solutions looking for problems. But it still has some unique important local links that the 35 cannot replicate and there have been some decent suggestions for extensions made that aren't solutions looking for problems

I do feel as though the 45 was hard done by making it a Clapham Park to Elephant route. It's literally now a support route from Brixton Hill and then supporting the 35 from Brixton to Elephant. Do you think that it should be extended, if yes where should it be extended to? Beyond Elephant to Canada Water and/or beyond Clapham Park to Balham

The next possible place I can think of is upper tooting park

My local route 109 is struggling to adhere to social distancing measures. To be fair, the drivers on the routes are trying their best to stick the guidelines but even with a 6 minute frequency, the route still see massive loads of passengers. Yesterday I went on the route off peak and it was packed. And of course there were orderly queues at each stop? It's the 109, there is no such thing as "orderly" with some people that go on it .

I believe some of the 155s used to curtail there when Q had a temporary part-allocation on route.

Extras should be running on a lot more routes and between 7am-5pm instead of just in the morning and evenings only as schools start and end at different times and in sepeare year groups to keep everything safe, buses should run between those hours instead and more routes.
The only problem here is the limited amount of buses and drivers available and £ to pay those driving them.
A little upgrade for something at least is to extend their running hours from 7am to 5pm as that is the general school earliest hours for start and latest for finish.

I've noticed a lot of instances of people preferring to stand downstairs instead of going upstairs where there are plenty of seats, possibly because they don't want to sit next to strangers on the rows

I don't think any buses should be carrying standing loads at the moment.

Spotted x2 route 25 at Stratford today with standing loads! There was seats available upstairs! Madness! I think its more of people getting on shorter journeys like 2-3 stops and not being bothered to walk. I certainly wouldn’t bother going upstairs for a journey thats 2-7 stops. Can say the same for the 13/113 here, people boarding at Swiss Cottage and getting off at S’t John’s Wood its about a 10 minute walk straight down a quiet scenic road. I think TFL should make ads to encourage some to walk and advertise the free Cycle hire at the moment otherwise kids will stay on buses.

It's quite understandable that people are reluctant to go upstairs in the current circumstances, the few bus journeys I've made since last March have been short distances and I've stayed downstairs. I thought free bus travel for kids was being suspended? I agree that TfL should be doing more to encourage walking and cycling.

If anything there is more space to distance!! Your negative spin on everything is seriously draining! Something will need to change soon as trust me as soon as Autumn and Winter hit walking and cycling will go out of the window, don't thin many will be keen cycling at 5pm in the rain and dark.
