LNER is to introduce a new "Let's Eat - At Your Seat" service on their new 65-strong fleet of Azuma trains, all of which are now in service. "Let's Eat - At Your Seat" will allow passengers to order and pay for food and drink in their own seat, without needing to get up and go to the buffet counter. The goods will be brought to the customer.
The system was developed by QikServe, and customers access the ordering system by scanning a QR code so there is no need to download an app.
