Which is your favourite bus operator? I'd probably say Metroline. I love the blue skirt on all of their buses. Also, I think that they are one of the most reliable bus operators.

Metroline haven't operated buses with blue skirts for some years. Their rellaiblity figures are also below average for TfL operators, certainly for high frequency services

Abellio London is my favourite, because of their previous interior designs, which looked so bright in red (apart from the dull grey moquette) and I remember my local route 211 being allocated to ALX400s, that ran until 2012 which were my childhood indeed. Such a shame the 211 has lost Abellio now though.
Even if their only allocations in the present are just made up of ADL, Caetano or Routemaster vehicles, I'd still choose Abellio.

Yes, interior wise Abellio and RATP I like the most. Go ahead reminds me of Ryan Air, so a dislike. And certainly strikes apart, RATP have for me always been reliable plus many of their routes I like. This is just by accident really though as I grew up in SW London which I like the most. Second best would be Stagecoach.

Why are GAL and RATP split into their subsidiaries whilst Arriva, Abellio, Metroline and Stagecoach are combined as one when they also technically operate subsidiaries albeit not branded but definitely legally. I’d like vote for GAL as a whole because that’s what the business is, one MD, one senior corporate level management team.

I'm going to be one of the rare people that say this but I like what HCT has done in the recent decade with the wins that they have gotten.

Stagecoach London is my favourite bus operator.
In terms of bus interiors, I tend to prefer warm and bright interior colours that work well together, so the Stagecoach London bus interior is certainly the best in my view, followed by the Abellio and Metroline interiors.
Other than the occasional buses in pairs and gaps in service which is standard across most operators, I personally haven't had any major issues with bus route performance and reliability under Stagecoach, so things are fine in that respect.
Stagecoach are usually the ones introducing brand new buses in my local area, having done so each year since 2011, except 2012 and 2020. It's always nice to have new buses on my doorstep, which wouldn't have been the case since early 2016 without them.

It’s London Sovereign for me. Mainly for sentimental reasons. They’ve been around my local area since I was a child and as my interest in buses grew, I also grew to love the liveries they had on their buses and the parent companies (Transdev & RATP) that own(ed) them. That’ll never change for me.
