DLR B92 units 57, 58 and 63 have been named and carry plaques bearing the names Bernard George, Ian Blears and Mohammed Salam in honour of our colleagues who sadly passed away in the last 12 months

On the same topic, I notice that the B90/B92 stocks are looking very tatty since the pandemic. Some have blistering paint or even rots near the doors! The bodies also seem to be not cleaned for long...quite a contrary to the B07 stocks which still look shiny. Looks like TfL is giving up them, though they should still be around for at least 2 more years?

Got on a 3-car B07 stock unit (led by #131) at Canary Wharf towards Lewisham this morning - the blind was showing "Special" while the PIS on board kept showing "Next station is Beckton where this train terminates". The voice announcement was right though.

The voice announcement was right though. I fell victim to this train (or maybe another with a similar issue) yesterday, I was waiting for a train and then one turned up with Beckton and Special on the PIS systems but was actually going Woolwich arsenal. Luckily I found out early enough to bail before we branched off.

Luckily I found out early enough to bail before we branched off. Reminds me of my another experience on Victoria Line last year...was on a Brixton bound train but the PIS was mistakenly set to the opposite direction. The LED panel kept showing it's heading towards Walthamstow and we're showing completely wrong station names. A lady in my compartment was misled by that and got off the train midway thinking she's on the wrong train! I kept looking out to see the actual stations to figure out I was on the right track and managed to get to Tooting Broadway.

When I used the DLR over the weekend I noticed the front section is still sealed off so the question I have is how do the train operatives get into the front section as the board material looks like its screwed to the poles. Guessing ThinLizzy will know the answer! Previously the front and back first set of doors were closed off so this wasn't a issue.

They are clipped on to the poles and can be unclipped so the PSA can get to the front

Just noticed this evening that B07 stock unit 101 had some art work/paintings (not the support NHS drawings put on during the pandemic) stuck on the ventilation windows - not sure if it's a recent thing or not?
