Just noticed this evening that B07 stock unit 101 had some art work/paintings (not the support NHS drawings put on during the pandemic) stuck on the ventilation windows - not sure if it's a recent thing or not? recently introduced, there's a few different versions some promoting the DLR Community Ambassador scheme

Also a corner of the Canary Wharf station platform has been set up as a meditation corner.

Words cannot express the stupidity of this person’s actions.

Tower Hamlets Council is to embark on streetworks in Shadwell, which will improve the walking route between the DLR and Overground stations. The main feature is that the zebra crossing in Watney Street will be made wider. There will also be a small amount of pavement widening (limited by the need to retain loading bays for the shops) and the paving and landscaping will be renewed and smartened up. The works are part of a wider Shadwell Liveable Streets scheme, which will also see improvements to walking routes in the wider area and around Watney Street Market. The effect on buses is minimal, the only change being the movement of the 339 bus terminus in Martha Street 5 metres back from the junction with Watney Street. Combining the two stations into a single building has been considered before but the cost is high and it does not have a good business case, especially given TfL's current financial situation. www.ianvisits.co.uk/articles/improved-links-between-shadwell-overground-and-dlr-proposed-50348/

There has been signal issue at Shadwell since yesterday, meaning a reduced service between Westferry and Bank/Tower Gateway. All Woolwich Arsenal trains are diverted to terminate at Mudchute instead of Bank. First time I can get on a DLR to Woolwich without change!

Power supply issues between Westferry and Bank/Tower Gateway meaning fewer trains can run on that part of the line. Been going on since Monday

Been going on since Monday I noticed this yesterday traveling from Bank to Canning Town. I forgot what its like having to wait 10 for a Beckton train! The Beckton branch is still the poor relation of the DLR I had got used to having the option of a Woolwich Arsenal service!

Been going on since Monday I noticed this yesterday traveling from Bank to Canning Town. I forgot what its like having to wait 10 for a Beckton train! The Beckton branch is still the poor relation of the DLR I had got used to having the option of a Woolwich Arsenal service! I occasionally need to go to Gallions Reach from IoD and it takes me over an hour every time, with at least 15 or sometimes 20 min of wait on platforms between trains! Sounds a bit ridiculous given the two places are quite close geographically... The quicker way is to hop on a D7 to Prestons Road then walk to Blackwall DLR and get a Beckton train but still takes me around 45 mins - and need to pay for an extra bus journey if I'm not capped.

The DLR now has 4G coverage in the Bank Tunnels! Not sure how new this is but think it’s recent?

Just got this email from tfl
“A limited DLR service is operating between Custom House and Beckton today because of damage to the track in the Cyprus area.
In order to repair the faulty track, there will be no DLR service between Canning Town and Beckton from 19:00 this evening. A limited replacement bus service will operate calling at all affected stations.
Please use local or replacement bus services for alternative routes. The rest of the DLR network is unaffected by this fault”
