Good to see football resume for one weekend before the International break. Spurs fans getting jumpy as Conte won't sign a new contract and has gone home to Italy in the break and was seen at Juventus who may want him back in place of Allegri. Not sure if part of a plan for a Pochettino return in the summer after Conte's done all the leg work to get Spurs into some sort of shape. Tottenham fans as crestfallen as Arriva's passengers in October

Oh dear! 😮 What a result in the Manchester Derby! Just goes to show how far behind Man Utd are comparing to City!

I'm a bit late posting this but the atmosphere on Saturday was excellent. The whole stadium erupted when Partey scored that goal.

By the way do we have any Brentford fans on here. I wished I had the privilege to have watched their games at Griffin Park when it was still open. How's the new stadium like for those that both support Brentford and away fans that have been there?

I'm not a Brentford fan as such but they’re a club I've got a lot of time for, Griffin Park was a great old school stadium and it's a great shame it's gone but the new stadium is fantastic, I couldn't fault it at all.

I know a few Brentford fans, they say the new stadium is nice but it's a completely different environment to Griffin Park. Just under a year ago I took a walk around Griffin Park, some of it had been taken down already other bits were derelict. Not only was the stadium eerie and quiet, but the whole neighbourhood was, it was like they are closing the neighbourhood itself as well as the stadium. The famous pubs on each corner of the stadium are still open but very quiet without their matchday traffic, it's rather sad that such an incredible asset to the community is gone (I know it's just up the road but it's really not the same as being tucked in to the fabric of Brentford like it was). Brentford in general is undergoing immense change, not least with half the high street being redeveloped, that whole era of Brentford is rapidly disappearing.

Nice one. I'm guessing it's like Highbury and Selhurst Park

The whole of Green Street and Barking Road is now quiet. I think some of the shops have even closed along Barking Road as a result.

It's nice to see change in the area having lived there for 4 years. Aside from a few takeaways (a decent Indian restaurant, an Italian and Thames noodle house, now a Japanese fusion place) only Greggs was worth visiting on the High Street. A lot of derelict buildings like the W and K factory was an eyesore. I notice Goddards has gone, they were there for years. Griffin Park was tucked away and most fans seemed to walk from Ealing Road, I haven't been back much since returning to North London, but seeing the demand for housing, that space where the ground was will be utilised quickly. Hopefully they will put some decent shops in the area soon

It's such a shame Enock Mpewu had to retire so young in his career. I suppose it's better he found this out now than if he collapsed on the pitch like Fabrice Muamba and Bafetimbi Gomis. One thing I would encourage everyone to do on here regardless of your age is to definitely get your heart checked regularly. www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.com/sport/football/63200049.amp
