I just received an email about TfL Go. Looks like TfL created their own version of Citymapper. Has anyone used it yet? Looks like it has been out for some time, but this is the first I’ve heard about it.

Yes, I believe the initial version came out on iOS but just looked today and it seems to be on the Play Store too.
The version seems to have improved since the iOS version I've got on my iPad, although I'm not sure if it's just an Android update or whether it's rolled out to iOS too in recent times. The biggest issue I have is that the tube map doesn't have station name tags, which I imagine is fine if you know specifically where your station is, but is otherwise useless for someone in an unknown area.

When the map is zoomed in, the station names pop up but when zoomed out they’re not there - is that what your referring to?

Surely a city mapper style of map could be used in this instance just making it a bit easier. However I think they'll probably come after all that in a future software update.
