Sadly the site of Seven Kings garage has now been approved for housing. It was the site of Homebase after the garage was demolished in the 1990's. Shame we can't see a garage rebuilt there. The memories of Titans stopping there for crew changes on the 86 and Optare Delta DA's coming out of there. Redbridge Council approves Homebase site flatsPlans to build more than 560 new homes on the site of a disused DIY store have been approved by Redbridge Council.www.guardian-series.co.uk/news/19470852.redbridge-council-approves-homebase-site-flats/

This prompted me to take a look on Google Maps for the planned site of 'CH', the supergarage that never happened. Would I be right in thinking it would have been on the huge site in Selinas Lane that remains undeveloped (and seemingly in use as a Covid test centre)?

I am not sure where the Selina's Lane site for the proposed [CH] would have been.

Open air parking is the thing.

CH was apparently supposed to be on the former Berger Paints site and might have been further along into Freshwater Road.

CH was apparently supposed to be on the former Berger Paints site and might have been further along into Freshwater Road. It was definitely on a site of a former paint factory, and it did not proceed as the land was too contaminated. Not being local could not tell you exactly where it was, but suspect you are correct from your description.
