Storm Barra is expected to bring strong winds over much of Great Britain on Tuesday 7th December, with the rain turning to snow in Scotland and Northern England. The Met. Office has issued Yellow Weather Warnings for much of the UK.
Avanti West Coast, Scotrail, Southern, South Western Railway and Transport for Wales all have Travel Warnings in place.
Because of high tides at the Dawlish Sea Wall, Cross Country Trains are withdrawn between Exeter and Plymouth until 11.30. Great Western Railway services are operating normally at present.

Update at 11.32:
GWR is reporting delays due to speed restrictions at various locations between Swansea and Bristol Parkway; and between Taunton and Penzance. The Reading to Basingstoke service is temporarily suspended due to a failed train.
