Hi, does anyone have an up to date fleetlist of buses (not coaches) for Mullanys of Watford? From one I've seen from last year, it seems that they have multiple single deckers, yet they only need 1 for the 318? Do they operate other single decker services?

Warner Bros uses double deckers, do the school services use single or double deckers? No idea, just letting you know the other services in case you wasn't aware. I'd imagine the school routes use double deckers or coaches.

I'd imagine the school routes use double deckers or coaches. Some school services outside London can be operated with single deckers either due to low bridges or the contract specifying a certain amount of capacity (max size and min seating)

I've lost track of some of the details of their operations in recent years, but going back 10-15 years to when I travelled home from school on a Mullany's service they had a number of step-entrance single deckers which were used alongside double deckers and coaches on various school routes. They later took over Watford route 318 from Metroline with a couple of their NSM-class Optare Solos, before taking another pair and purchasing a larger example for expanding their regular bus services (with an extension to Hemel Hempstead plus new routes 346 and, briefly, 385). These carried the Metroline-style livery, which was also applied to a few long Dart / Pointer 2s purchased around 10 years ago while other Darts were white with either Mullany's Buses or Coaches names - the white ones were generally used for school routes and the red buses for either from what I remember.
Around 2013 Mullany's acquired a pair of new Solo SRs and three second-hand but young Enviro200s to update the fleet, however they subsequently withdrew the 346 and the 318's extension to Hemel, leaving them with just the 318 as Watford - Abbots Langley once again. The (presumably leased?) Solo SRs and the E200s left the fleet and relatively late-build Darts took over. These were Pointers LX06EZW / FAO and Evolution AE56OUM, the route being hourly at this time so needing two in service.
The current two-hourly timetable has been in place since at least July 2020. It's not a route I happen to see too often myself however a quick Flickr search has not come up with any photos of LX06FAO since 2019, while the other two have both been in service this summer.

As it happens there's a feature on Mullanys in this week's Route One magazine - see here. Towards the end of the article there's an explanation of where 3 of their older single-deckers went - they were donated to St Albans Fire Station for training purposes (training firefighters, not bus drivers!). There's a pic of former Metroline DLD142 on its side being "rescued" by trainees.

Realised earlier that I may have got things slightly mixed up in my previous post regarding route 318 having overlooked last year's extension to Watford General Hospital, which would have significantly lengthened the round-trip time and therefore explains the frequency drop to two-hourly. The route would have originally been half-hourly, so still needed two buses in the past (Metroline used running numbers 11 and 12 when they operated it), but I'm unsure exactly when it was cut back to hourly. Doesn't really change the overall picture of Mullany's single deck operations but just wanted to clarify.
As an aside I was at Watford Junction around lunchtime and can say that LX06EZW was the bus on the 318 today.

Mullany's Coaches is withdrawing its 318 Flyer after Friday 18th March. The route currently operates between Abbots Langley and Watford General Hospital on Mondays to Fridays only, at two-hourly intervals. Most journeys can be made by alternative Arriva services.
This is Mullany's last regular bus service, however they will continue to operate the Harry Potter Shuttle bus between Watford Junction Station and the Warner Bros Studio in Leavesden, and school contracts.
Mullany's is due to move to a new depot at South Mimms as its existing site in Watford has been acquired for the expansion of the adjacent Waste Transfer Station.

Just wondering when they will move to South Mimms as I went past their Garston depot last night and all the buses including the EVs were parked there
