Been lots of talk of changes about LI, no new news yet; perhaps TT are planning on keeping it after all. What do you think is its future?

Been lots of talk of changes about LI, no new news yet; perhaps TT are planning on keeping it after all. What do you think is its future? What was wrong with the existing Tower Transit thread? Pretty sure it’s business as usual! I can’t see them selling up at least in the short to medium term.

What's the point of this thread? There's no news about it so any ideas here are just fantasy.

HCT Group and Sullivan Buses will announce a merger with Tower Transit. The new company will be known as HCTransit Sullivan Group Dev and will take over the staff, vehicles, routes and assets of Lea Interchange Garage. To satisfy the Competition and Markets Authority, HCT Group will novate the contract for route 20 to Central Connect.

Abellio will make a killer bid to buy out Tower Transit LI to compensate for not being invited to join the RATP / Tower Transit X ganging up against them.

First make their return to London reclaiming LI and plan to take over all the garages they sold off to Metroline + NP, becoming the largest operator in London with 26% of all routes to Go Ahead's 25%

I'm another who wouldn't rule out First returning to London, I think it's entirely possible. Perhaps reclaiming LI would be a starting point should it be sold
