So presumably the batteries are not being replaced? Are they really good for another 5 or more years to allow the vehicles to operate as full hybrids?

Whislt its still early days, that may be why is appears LT routes are having 5 year contracts as 12 years is maybe the max they can feel they can get out of the batteries.

Whislt its still early days, that may be why is appears LT routes are having 5 year contracts as 12 years is maybe the max they can feel they can get out of the batteries. The 8 prototypes entered service in 2012, about next 100 in 2013 The 5 year contracts expire 2027, when these will be 14 years old Don’t be misled by thinking some of these contracts are using 2015 buses, as it means 100 buses need to come free to replace the oldest ones. Regarding batteries, many of the earlier ones had them replaced ages ago under warranty, although the warranty became valueless when Wrightbus went bust, so some have already had replacement batteries.

Have noticed upon repaint that the LTs with RAPT now have their offside company logos positioned below the cab windows. Are other firms doing the same?

It’s new RATP policy to have the logos on the offside below the driver can window. This is on all the vehicles at the company that have had new logos applied.

That's where the larger RDTL logo goes now.

Even If the next bailout is enough for the Tube I don't think it would be enough for the Batteries. TBH. I agree with vjaska it would be just the satdard referb I think the most expensive thing on an LT is the rear staircase window wich cost at least £16,000

Surely it cannot be that price for one.

Metroline LT97 appears refurbished (as with others I've reported, spotted in fresh paint on the Abbey Road webcam after being away - this one between 9th March and 16th April).
I'd also assume RATP LT69/87 to have been done now that they are back in use at Shepherds Bush, however I'm yet to either see photos or the buses themselves to confirm this.
Edit: However I can confirm that Abellio's LT21 is refurbished.
