This is more a thread to list bus stops you could consider hellish in terms of the number of people there, the behaviour, or ones that you would regularly struggle to board a bus at (both past and present).
Here are my nominees:
Basing Way (Towards Brent X on the 143), East Finchley Cemetery (both directions), Ossulton Way (Towards Brent X on the 143)
Archway Station Stop U before the Archway Gyratory Changes (the one with the 4, 17, 41, C11, W5, N41)
Redvers Road (Towards Ilford/Waterloo on the 123/243)
Those are my examples, are there any others that people could come up with? Have chosen to avoid obvious ones such as Shepherds Bush, Brixton, Stratford, Ilford etc but would be interesting to see what ones people conjure up.
Also just as a quick side note, there was a thread created by the late snoggle with a similar name to this however unfortunately it is locked, but obviously his was created about 10 years ago and plenty of examples could've been missed out, as well as new ones popping up, so would be interested to hear what people have to say

The 69 stop at Walthamstow Central Bus Station is hell and a free for all. Another one is the 5 and 115 stop at Canning Town Bus Station

I know you said you would avoid places like Shepherds Bush but thought the westbound stop at Shepherds Bush Station was really worth a mention (the stop for 207, 237, 260 etc). Swarms of people waiting there at pretty much all hours of the day, the eastbound stop next to it is fairly busy aswell. 207s and 237s in particular can spend up to 4-5 minutes picking up passengers. Really pales in comparison with White City Bus Station which I've always believed is a bit of a joke, it's poorly signed in Westfields and is in the opposite direction to the natural flow of shoppers (from the south).
Off the top of my head initially I'd also say the northbound stop at Richmond Station as the pavement is pretty narrow despite the crowds that end up waiting there, coupled with the heavy footfall of Richmond Town Centre its a pretty unpleasant experience.

The C London stop for the 94/148 get pretty packed as well.

St Matthews Church bus stop Z is a nightmare even if your not waiting for a bus - because TfL have deemed the southbound Brixton Station stops as unsuitable for social distancing despite their being plenty of room there, the Tulse Hill & Herne Hill bound routes miss the important & busy Brixton Station meaning everyone is forced to either walk to Brixton Police Station or Academy stops which are further away or go to St Matthews Church where it's impossible to social distance due to the narrow change. Hilariously, the northbound Brixton Station stops are located on a narrower pavement than the southbound stops yet everything still stops at the northbound Brixton Station stops. This needs to be changed back to how it was pre pandemic!

Any stop near a secondary school as young people don't know how to queue, they just think that they can ignore anyone else who has been waiting before they arrived.

I honestly think no one knows how to queue for buses now. It’s just a free for all and frustrates me especially if I have been waiting for a long time and people just barge past you.

People queue for buses in London??? Try telling that in NOG / Stratford / Canning Town / anywhere frankly I feel incredibly old as I remember queuing for buses in the early 90s and people would get disapproving looks or comments if anyone tried cutting the line.

Woolwich Arsenal Station stops N, Q, and G. People have no manners at all. No concept of queuing for a bus and waiting your time. It’s a complete free for all. The old people are just as bad as the younger ones.

There are places in London where people queue, it’s dependent on local culture.

The 263 at East Finchley - always a queue. Funnily enough, the other bus stop for the 102, 234 etc doesn't have a queue.
That 69 bus stop at Walthamstow doesn't seem so bad though it is a free for all. Either I'm standing right by the stop (because I seem to be good at just missing that particular route), or just wait for everyone to get on, I'm only going several stops so couldn't care less about particular seats. I avoid the 69 at Stratford Bus Station like the plague, instead hop on a 97 at Stratford Int'l instead if I'm too lazy to walk home.
