There are probably so many examples especially with garages close together.
Is this just fantasy not based on capacity?
The 69 could be run from DS, SI, WH, LI, T and maybe even NP and AW
147 from RR, WH, DS, BK, DX, SI
241,262,473 DS, BW, LI, SI

What is the criteria for determining whether a garage can operate a route or not? In the past we have had the 465 operated from a base in Horsham and the U9 operated from High Wycombe, and Metrobus once operated a Mobility Bus in Dagenham from their base in Orpington.

I think most routes in London could be operated by a number of different garages by a number of different operators, even if factoring some dead mileage from garages off line of route. Looking at, for example, the C2- a few years ago a list would have thrown up Metroline, possibly even Go Ahead London but how many would have considered QB as a possible depot for the route?

Not only that, operators who currently don’t do TfL work could, theoretically, take certain routes. Falcon on the 411, K3 and R68, Go-coach on the 233 and 246, anyone?

Rotala (Diamond SE) could theoretically take on any Heathrow/Hounslow/Staines area route - even could go as far as Hayes. 100% agree re Falcon.

I’ll try and see what I can come up with in South East London.
208 Go Ahead - Orpington Go Ahead - New Cross (2.5 miles away from Lewisham Station) Stagecoach - Bromley Stagecoach - Catford
51 Stagecoach - Plumstead Stagecoach - Bromley (2.7 miles away from Orpington Station) Go Ahead - Bexleyheath Go Ahead - Orpington
314 Stagecoach - Bromley Stagecoach - Plumstead (4 miles away from Eltham Station) Go Ahead - Orpington (4.8 miles away from Bromley South Station which it serves) Arriva - Croydon (4.2 miles away from Addington Village which it serves)
I was struggling to beat 4 until..
75 Stagecoach - Catford Go Ahead - Croydon Go Ahead - New Cross (2.5 miles from Lewisham Station) Arriva - Croydon Arriva - Thornton Heath (1.2 miles from West Croydon Station) Abelio - Beddington

119 can be operated from the following six garages: Go-Ahead (C & MB) Arriva London (TC and also DT a remote possibility since they operate the 269 into Bromley, though highly unlikely) Abellio (BC) Stagecoach (TB)
I’m also surprised nobody has said the X26 yet, which could be operated by 12 garages: Go-Ahead (C & A) Arriva (TC & TH) Abellio (BC & TF) RATP (TV, FW, WK & AV) Metroline (AH & UX)

Similar to the 160 with Catford being the furthest end of the route.
