Today's strike tube services are pretty much the same as what managed to operate on Tuesday, but with the addition of a Bakerloo Line service between Elephant & Castle and Queen's Park. It's usefulness is somewhat limited as most of the intermediate stations are closed! Apart from the two terminals, only Lambeth North, Piccadilly Circus, Edgware Road and Maida Vale are actually open. Central Line is operating Liverpool Street - Loughton & Newbury Park (via Woodford). Trains are not stopping at Bethnal Green and South Woodford. Also operating White City - Ealing Broadway & West Ruislip District Line operating West Ham - Upminster; and High Street Kensington - Ealing Broadway & Wimbledon. Northern Line is operating East Finchley - High Barnet plus Mill Hill East shuttle; and Golders Green - Edgware. Trains are not stopping at Brent Cross and Burnt Oak. Piccadilly Line is operating Acton Town - Hounslow Central. All services are reduced frequency and expected to finish around 18.30 today. Services will be disrupted tomorrow morning and are unlikely to commence before 07.30. Bakerloo line now suspended. Slight change on the District District Line: Service is operating between High Street Kensington and Wimbledon/Ealing Broadway, and between Upminster and Dagenham East at a reduced frequency. No service on the rest of the line due to strike action by the RMT. Trains are not calling at Earl's Court

LIVE Tube strike: London Underground hit by second 24-hour walkoutwww.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-england-london-60584641I wonder how routes like 733 have been coping during the strike. It appears that today many people were prepared or stayed at home. The delays on the road network was no way as bad as Tuesday. I was surprised people said they did not know the strike was going on, I was like wtf and this was people who normally use the train. On ibus screen on buses they would have a scrolling display every few minutes showing tube strike action on 1 and 3 March The 263 was even worse today

I am puzzled why on the day after the strike it takes until 8:00 am to re-start services. Given that the strike is for exactly 24 hours, surely trains would be in the right place from exactly 24 hours earlier? Anyone know why it takes so long to re-start the service?

Maybe the tube drivers don’t have any means of getting to work as the tube isn’t running? Or they are trying to walk / cycle and it does take a bit of time to get into work in that fashion

Maybe the tube drivers don’t have any means of getting to work as the tube isn’t running? Or they are trying to walk / cycle and it does take a bit of time to get into work in that fashion Early turn Train staff can book-on as normal from 0440 onwards. On a normal Wednesday/Friday morning train staff start without trains running, so drive, bus, walk, cycle or staff taxi to their book-on point. I am puzzled why on the day after the strike it takes until 8:00 am to re-start services. Given that the strike is for exactly 24 hours, surely trains would be in the right place from exactly 24 hours earlier? Anyone know why it takes so long to re-start the service? Because the late turn staff are on Strike Actually night staff who finish shifts around 0700-0730, mostly depot and Control staff. Early turns would book-on as usual at 0700/0730.
