The 93 isn’t a straight route, a few turns on route. Morden, Wimbledon, Tibet’s Corner. Is there such thing as a 100% straight route?

I'd say that the 32 is 97% straight, only 2 turns coming out of edgware, and one turn terminating at kilburn park(does more turns going to bus stand but im talking aboput in service), the rest of the route is completely straight with the exception of a roundabout at staples corner, even then it goes straight from the roundabout.

For those who don't know, this is a straight line.
Most of the ideas suggested here are, frankly, as straight as a circle! It's not just about turns but, if it buckles or curves, NuhUh. There are only 3 that remotely come close, and even then you'd have to exclude the termini.

You would only get routes running along the A5 or the A207 in that case - the only straight roads!

sorry but think you really would struggle to find a dead straight route in London! You would only get routes running along the A5 or the A207 in that case - the only straight roads! On the A5 just south of Kilburn High Road Station there is bend, and there are slight curves either side of Cricklewood Garage, and some more near the junction of Colindeep Lane so the A5 is not dead straight.
On the A207 the road curves just east of the Sun-in-the-Sands Roundabout, there is also a curve in Welling High Street, and now they have pedestrainised Bexleyheath Broadway the buses have to go around the bypass roads and then there is a big bend in Crayford town centre, so the A207 is not dead straight either.

I personally don't think there is such thing as a 100% straight route depending on what you take into account. Not naming any routes in particular but the only way to get a 100% straight would be if it turns around at either end via a U-turn facility or a roundabout. IMO, if a route is roughly two thirds straight, then I think it should be given a pass as a straight route?

Came across the original 69- a behemoth of a route that ran from well into the shires (by Cheshunt) into Central London and Camberwell Green; back in the 30s, with no Elephant gyratory, Stoke Newington one way system and Waltham Cross by-pass, that route would've had just two turns along its 19 mile length. The turn onto Walworth Road at Elephant and the turn onto Gracechurch Street at Monument.
