SMA 5 area open for passenger use from 0900 this morning Thanks for letting us know! Probably going to try it tmw morning when I head to school, has the timetable changed because of the change of ATO, there was a rumour a couple years ago that there would be a 7.5 min service on the Edgware Road to Wimbledon instead of every ten mins

Yesterday afternoon 47mph was reached South Kensington> Sloane Sq eastbound. Notting Hill Gate> High Street is ‘maximum 60mph’.

A new WTT will likely only incorporate up to SMA5, then another one likely after SMA7 goes live.

Has anyone ridden the SMA5 section yet and if you have how was it, I have heard that it is really choppy (the trains keep on stopping and starting) it might be because it is the first date of this section being under ATO.

The computer probably needs time to adjust just like what happened when the Northern went ATO where for a while, it was a bit stop & start

I operated trains from Ealing to Tower Hill and Tower Hill to Wimbledon yesterday and all seems fine, doors opening at every station. Trains with driver relief at Earl's Court eastbound were manually driven from Fulham Broadway/West Kensington yesterday.

Ya tmw morning rush hour I am going to try it out and see if it is any good and also see what has changed of the trains. I didn't think you drove the District Line.

I have tried out the new section of the district line and between Notting hill and high street Ken it was fast but between south Ken and West Brompton it was very slow for some reason

This would mean that Earls Court Control room closes for good. Also no more Train Description system being used, as are the program machines. I have reset many of those at 05:15 for the first train.
