Realistically if they were to try and save as many numbers as possible in order to re hash the changes then likely ways could be;
11 diverted at Westminster to Waterloo instead of 507 12 diverted at Westminster to Shepherds Bush. 14 diverted to Marble Arch. 414 withdrawn 16 either diverted at Kilburn to AC and the 98 withdrawn or 16 extended to Brent park and diverted to Paddington. 332 withdrawn. The extended 272 could be re numbered 72. 74 withdrawn between S Ken and Baker Street and extended to Roehampton. 430 withdrawn. 78 withdrawn between Nunhead and Peckham and diverted at Tower Bridge Road to Stratford City.
I can't really see how the 4 and 24 could be re used particularly the 24 with all the ends and middle section being changed.

Saving the 12,14,16,74 etc is not going to produce the same cost saving as withdrawing them would.

Saving the 12,14,16,74 etc is not going to produce the same cost saving as withdrawing them would. I know that and I know the 13/82 saga achieved the same cost savings. Just a different way of explaining the changes.
