With the first phase of the Elizabeth Line opening imminent, the line now appears on the new Tube Map that is being issued from today. The map has had to be rejigged considerably to accommodate the new line, which for now is being shown in the sections that will operate until later in the year. Paddington has become particularly complicated, with a five-way split to show the connections between the various lines including the two separate Elizabeth Line services (this will be simplified when through running commences). Liverpool Street is also complicated as it now incorporates Elizabeth Line connections through Moorgate. However Barbican is not shown as an Elizabeth Line interchange, although there is lift access from the Westbound platform.
Bond Street is not shown as an Elizabeth Line station on this version of the map, although it does appear in the footnotes as "Bond Street - Elizabeth Line station opening soon". Presumably it will be shown in the next edition, when through running services commence.
Barking Riverside though has made it onto the new Tube Map ("Barking Riverside opening soon") and also shows the forthcoming link with the Riverboat Pier.
South Kensington (Piccadilly Line) and Heathrow Terminal 4 are due to reopen next month, this is mentioned in the footnotes.
The map is sponsored by IKEA for the next twelve months, this means their icon will appear at stations that are close to their stores (although for the Edmonton store this is shown as Tottenham Hale as Meridian Water does not appear on the Tube Map!).
