Have just seen this video shared on Twitter, it's also mentioned that the fire started on one of the electrics:
It looks like at least a couple of OMEs and TEs are destroyed, some most probably beyond repair!

Amazed that is the first. France has seen a few electric fires whilst charging, one destroying 34 electric buses. The trouble is batteries burn so hot, they are really hard to extinguish once they have caught hold. If vehicles are likely to catch fire in the garage rather than on the road ... this is a huge risk, as the fire will not be contained to a single vehicle, rather than multiple. And all those that worry about hydrogen! The green credentials of electric buses shines through!

Maybe they're doing something right over here that France isn't to only result in one fire thus far? Someone mentioned it elsewhere it could be down to a faulty battery pack - no idea how true or not that is and your point about batteries is a correct & important one not just in buses but even things like phones were a phone can heat up considerably whilst charging. One other caveat is this batch in particular has suffered various issues along the way so wonder if that becomes part of the problem too?

Wonder if it was charging or had been charged?

Guessing PB buses on the road might need to go to other garages temporarily overnight? HT?

Look like 2 X TE, 2 X Gemini, the original OME, and is that a 2nd OME nearest the building?

Wow!!! My local garage as well. I think some of those buses are completely finished now. Also I'm shocked that one of the electrics started it.

The Enviro next to the Metrodecker looks like TE1426, I recognise the odd back it has with the weirdly placed numberplate & the white inside the grills where it says "ENVIRO 400"

Seems to be later photo on this article, suggests at least 6 buses virtually destroyed From what I've seen, at least: -2 OMEs burnt completely -1 ex-First VW, either the meal relief one or a stored one as all of PB's are out (VW1839 logged out 1hr+ after the fire, so is still a possibility) -1 of VW1193-8, 1200 -1 EC E400 -1 older E400 It is 1838, the fleetcode positioning on the rear end of the B9TL in the video posted by WH241 looks similar to the photo of VW1838 on the 90
Believe TE1083 & VW1198 may have been involved
