No surprise that Kemi Badenoch (Private) is running, Cruella Braverman isn’t running, I only can assume she didn’t get the 10 nominations.

How exactly was that declined? When it was proved on multiple occasions. Don’t worry I had this before the General Election from the same poster after an unsavoury incident involving racism from the said party. I didn’t raise to the bait, I just let the news cycle do it’s work instead and it did its work. What incident was this?

There are people who want the least electable Tory leader chosen, to minimise their chances at the next General Election.
I would be inclined to recommend against, even though I prefer a Labour led government. Firstly, it is not guaranteed that they will lose under a terrible leader. What would more likely happen is that their re-election would be delayed, then be a larger majority and a longer term government.
If we are going to get a Tory government next time, my ranking for choice of leader would be
1. Tom Tugendhat 2. James Cleverly 3. Kemi Badenoch 4. Robert Jenrick
I always found Robert Jenrick boring in government. Also, I think he is pandering to the right to gain their votes, rather like Liz Truss did. Like her or loathe her, at least Kemi Badenoch is more sincere.
I would have put Mel Stride at number 1a, and Priti Patel at number 2a, if you get my drift. You can tell I've been reading too many London tender tranche numbers!

Jenrick will be over before you know it, like Stagecoach with the W9 November 2024: Contract awarded to Kemi Badenoch with Existing Rhetoric from Millbank Garage (3 years) (150924) 1 December — New Accusations at Starmer Introduced. PVR (Peak Viciousness Rate) TBC.

I think Kemi will be walked all over as she won't unite the party.
