Rest in peace, Queen Elizabeth II. What an amazing public servant she has been. A very sad and historic day.

Omg the Queen’s dead 😳 I thought I would e ever see the day that I’ll see the death of a ruling monarch and the crowning and coronation of a new monarch King Charles or whatever name he chooses to use for his reign. Due to the Queen’s long reign it’s been a longtime since the world saw the death of a monarch and a coronation of a new monarch. I had very a bad feeling a very bad feeling about this especially he saw Boris resign and welcoming the new Prime Minister Liz Truss at Balmoral instead of Buckingham Palace. It’s especially weird and coincidence how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just came back into the UK 🇬🇧 Those are two strange coincidences. Rest in peace to the Queen. It will be a profound experience for many of us. No-one under the age of 71 will have experienced a Royal Succession in the United Kingdom before and many in their seventies will have no memory of it. I have lived through four Jubilees, and now a Succession which will be marked next year by the Coronation of the new King, who we now know will be Charles III. Indeed.

A very sad day in our history. RIP Her Majesty The Queen.
Seems so surreal already hearing the term King Charles.

I’m sorry to hijack the thread and I don’t mean to be crass (at least I don’t think I am) but it’s kind of related. I can only now think about Crossrail and what it’s named after. Who knew that Crossrail would be named after the Queen for her jubilee, it launches round about the same time as her jubilee and then she dies within that same year not long after that jubilee. It’s a weird and sad coincidence.
It’s also weird how the Queen dies the same year as her Platinum Jubillee and she has just celebrated that. What a strange coincidence and timing. Rest in peace to the Queen

Sleep well Ma’am. If anyone has earned their rest then it’s the greatest monarch our country has ever seen. I’m deeply, deeply saddened by her passing
RIP Queen Elizabeth II

Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory your royal highness. It is very sad and it is a day that would have inevitably come. It just seemed the Queen would have lived forever, it just does not seem real. I did not expect she would live longer especially after grieving over Prince Philip as they seemed extremely tight knit. One thing I guess we may not see buses as per Golden Jubilee again, we may be lucky enough to see silver jubilee for a while. I am glad the operators did something in London where, TfL failed not to this time.

Rest in peace to the Queen Well it was nice she did turn up as she was not expected to make the Crossrail opening. It has been clear that the Queen was fighting health-wise the past few months even up to the Jubilee. Even shocking to fulfil meeting Liz Truss as the new Prime Minister. It makes me feel sad that the Queen has been trying to fulfil public duties serving the public when she knew she was not well. I really take my hat off to her for that, she did not abdicate either when public pressure was trying to force her to, something I am also against doing. She simply was the best

She simply was the best Without sounding like a conspiracy theorist there was a huge cannula bruise on her hand in Tuesday. Rather suggests she has been poor health for a while, they pumped her with fluids and blood to accept Liz Truss as PM but it was rather too much for her.
