With just over two weeks to go before the new 73 registrations hit the road on 1st September, this thread will be to record buses and coaches entering service with the new registrations.
It is possible, as in previous age-identifier changeovers, that some vehicles provisionally allocated 23 registrations will have these voided in favour of 73 plates if registered on or after 1st September, although this isn't always a given.

London ones to watch (these were still unregistered at 19th August):
Arriva: ES050 and ES051, the last two of the route 417 batch for BN (Brixton Hill), do not have provisional registrations allocated yet (all of ES017-ES049 have been registered).
Go-Ahead: Ee193-Ee204 of the route 40 batch for Q (Camberwell) have provisional 23 registrations but are not yet registered (Ee187-Ee192 have been registered). Also Ee100 for A (Sutton) remains unregistered although it has a provisional 23 registration.
Metroline: WDE2877 has a provisional 23 registration but is not yet registered (all of WDE2791-WDE2808 and WDE2857-WDE2876 have been registered).

From bus lists on the web, there are 45 odd E400 City EVs for Go-North West, presumably for the new bee network, with plates LG73FVZ - FYB.
First York also has a Kite that’s just popped up on BLOTW, ML73DYH

Some Wright Electrliners are starting this weekend on route 4 so these will have 23 registrations.

More than half the Norwich fleet renewed and an entirely electric garage.... 63635 - 63645 - Roundtree Way, Norwich (x11) - GB Kite Electroliner 36530 - 36588 - Roundtree Way, Norwich (x59) - Streetdeck Electroliner Plus a few years back the Excel route into the city got renewed with some excellent Scania/Enviro Cities. I actually think Norfolk has a pretty good bus scene, especially when compared to other counties. Spent quite a bit of time there riding buses recently.

I knew Norwich was meant to be getting them in 2024, but wow this is the first I knew about it!! I read in the newspaper not so long back the funding had been scrapped so I thought it wasn’t going ahead anymore!!

Pulham's Coaches (Pulham & Sons) of Bourton-on-the-Water has Mercedes Benz Tourismo PU73 HAM - there is a photo of it on this week's Oxford & Chilterns Bus page. Although Pulham's recently became part of the Go-Ahead Group the coach is in full Pulham's livery with no indication of Go-Ahead ownership. www.oxford-chiltern-bus-page.co.uk/Main%20Weekly%20briefing.html

Bus-wise, first out of the block with new 73-registrations is Morebus (part of Go South Coast), with the first three of their large order for 28 ADL Enviro400 MMCs entering service today on route m1 (Poole-Bournemouth-Royal Bournemouth Hospital). These will be the permanent allocation for the m1 and m2 routes, which have been double decked due to increased demand following the collapse of Yellow Buses in August 2022. A further 21 ADL Enviro400 MMCs will follow in Spring 2024.
In service on 1st September 2023:
1713 - HJ73 JJV 1714 - HJ73 JJX 1716 - HJ73 JJZ

Falcon Coaches has YX73 OTY out in service today (Monday 4th September) on route 715 according to RVF - this is probably one of the ADL Enviro200 MMC that Falcon is expecting.
This will be the first 73-registration bus to operate in service in Greater London.
