Strike update
Strike action is planned by ASLEF union members on Monday 8 April.
If these strikes go ahead, there will be severe disruption across the London Underground network, with little or no service expected.
Any services that do run, will not run after 19:00.
No other TfL services are on strike, but they will be busier than normal and queuing systems may also be in place.
On Tuesday 9 April, London Underground services may start later than normal. We expect that a good service will be running by mid-morning.
Strikes are also planned by the ASLEF union on national rail services between Thursday 4 and Tuesday 9 April. Levels of disruption will vary on each of these days, with no services in some causes.

It is a minority of them. Some practices yes are called for, but others are very questionable and it is one of the reasons why the public hates them I have to say I have never come across a group of workers so universally hated by the public from across all backgrounds and classes. Traffic wardens... Tax Collectors... Politicians. I think are far more hated.

Khan slipped and opened city halls wallet again. Quelle surprise. I’m sure he will be dining out on a second strike averted for his entire campaign. Short term avoidance for a long term cost at the expense of a more modern system. Great job…

Some I would query, but a lot of valid points they have there. It is a shame the union does not convey these things to the press

Something which eventually has a direct consequence on the travelling public.
