A reliable source on The Londoner Facebook group has mentioned that the U7's current allocation (8567-8570 and 8520) are moving to TF for school extras while the U7 is decked. In addition, DE20063 and DE20065 are being loaned to Abellio from RATP, and 8806-8809 are gradually returning from WL, as are 8118-8127 from loan at RATP. I'm not sure if it's a select few or all of the K1 E200's that will re enter service however.

Chances are that there is a simple answer/ reason, but is there any logic to Abellio's single decker E200/E20D numberings? It's clearly not by length of the bus, as you have the tiny 367s and long R70s both in the 8200s, the C10's previous buses were in the 8800s, and there's plenty of others in other hundreds. It doesn't seem to be by gearbox or registration year either, having looked on the bus fleet list on the forum too....

The 87* series also housed the sole Enviro 300 which operated with Travel Surrey upon purchase from Reading Buses 88* was originally for the 5 Wright Electocitys & the group of Optare Solos but was then joined by 10.8m Enviro 200's & 10.9m MMC's 89* hasn't ever existed 99* was for the Alexander Ultra trainers

It all looked very random when looking at the fleet list :S

It was the R68 and R70 batches that really messed up the system; they'd run out of 88** numbers, but instead of using 86** and 89** they just shoved them into the 81** and 82** series that had previously been reserved for shorter buses. So their system makes little sense now.
