Route 3's allocation of LTs has definitely moved to QB, but are there notices on these LTs that say "route 3 only", it seems to keep its own strict allocation of LTs. Might there be any particular reason for this? Drivers of course are still signing on at WL though that shouldn't have an effect on the buses being used Same with the 415. Notices In the dashboard, however 415 is fully QB. 3/N3 is only temporary at QB.

Just saw one of the BYD electrics for the 63 parked in WL, surprisingly these have destination blinds and route number blinds with LEDS at the back, which is a first in TFL buses. These I believe are the first to have them like this. Also the destination blinds at the back are very small and bright, not sure how people would read them for far away A first for TfL maybe; but even down here in Devon, where we park the buses in the cowshed next to the mangelwurzels, we've had them for a few years! The most appropriate vehicles to park near the mangelwurzels would be combine harvesters.

The N63 was never going to crosslink with the 63. The tender award for the 63 was electric buses whilst the N63 was hybrids

Now that the Beulah Jewel E is now introduced to running up to 300km on a single charge, could that be used on the 111 or has it already been confirmed that it'll use pantograph electrics?

Nothing's been confirmed re the 111. However, I think the timescale is a little tight, with GAL only just taking on the demonstrator. Abellio will probably need to place their order by the end of the year for procurement to be on time, but I doubt the demonstrator will have been in service long enough for Abellio to be sure it's a good one.

Saying in the article ‘set to be built in Norfolk’ (with bodywork procured in Spain) I would LOVE to see it have a Norwich registration (AO, AP, AR, AU) - my home city so would love to see it only very VERY few buses have ever had Norwich registrations. Anyway back to topic

Bruh what about the Electroliners since they have better range than the E400EVs?

The only other option could be Abellio retain LTs on the 111 temporarily using spares scooped up from all operators and then place an order for electrics further down the line. The 148 could then revert back using it’s own LTs.

That way the 148 can go back to LT operation and the batch currently on the 111 can remain for a year or so to allow Abellio to choose the most suitable bus.
