First Metrocity out on the 322 today! 1002 YJ22AXK Appearantly only did the one rounder, partly because the chargers are not yet prepped up for even a part conversion to EVs. Any idea when the new Caetanos are due for BC?

I wish the 270 used more E40Hs from the 407.. the MMCs got incredibly boring incredibly fast. I dislike Go Ahead's dominance on Tooting but I'd prefer an E or WVN to the 20xx batch used now. They'd be more interesting if 'proper' kickdown was enabled, though I'm still happy there's a bit more of variety in specs through the Mitcham area, even though I hardly use the 270 specifcally. I was getting about 2600rpm out of the one I drove on tram replacement - quick things they are!

Was able to part do so with some of the 53 plate WVLs on the four speed Voith, ie WVL134-159.

Was 2038 on the 111 a log in or actually used on the route? It was logged in for an hour.

Not that one - most Voith transmissions will remain in the same gear for 5 seconds if a recoil is detected. There was one time i managed to keep a three speed Voith PVL held in first until near enough the red mark on the dial. This was along Earlsfield Road approaching the junction of Garrate Lane. I was gutted that it didn't happened at a section of the 77 where there was more road for me to better find out how long it would've stayed stuck in gear whilst still accelerating with increasing revvs. As it was done on the fluke I was unable to recreate that situation with that or any other B7TL.

A BC driver informed me that work has started on installing the chargers for the 433s new buses. Nice to see some progress after a slight delay.
