ABEllio's MMCs are definitely my favourite. Nah I disagree, I particularly hate 2587. ohh no for me they're one of the best, i particularly like the smart hybrids on the 285. What's your favourite abellio fleet?

A pity other electric types aren't generally quite as loud as it gives them that bit more character. I guess I’m used to electric vehicles being quiet in general but 1005 was alarmingly loud. I expect more of these to be ordered for routes like S4 for its new tender I imagine it's somewhat like some of the old MCW Metrobuses and DAF DB250s that often had louder axle noises, which i used to also love the sounds of. During my recent trip to Central London i noticed some Boris buses are similar, especially the Go Ahead ones on the 12 and 453.

My all time favourite Abellio-era fleet are the Connex ordered ALX400 Tridents 9701-9829. My favourite present day fleet are the 14/64 reg E40Hs new to the 49, E1, etc and now used on the 156, 345, etc.

thanks, it's probably not all that far from you if you're in the Northolt/Greenford area. I would of recommend it some 10-15 years ago then it was run by First using the excellent euro_2 Dennis Tridents! Nowadays, the Uxbridge Road outside of LBH is just a joke.

i mean can anyone recommend it for the journey? You will enjoy inching through Southall Broadway at 10 miles an hour if you're lucky, and the traffic in Acton and through Ealing Broadway
