I’m pretty sure it will be an LT, there are a few spare at TF and the route has seen LTs a few times before for V extras. The 111’s LTs will all be leaving TF soon for the take up of the H32 and possibly the conversion of another route, which could be the H98. H91 I’m pretty sure is being converted by LT101-110. A spare MMC from the 285 could easily cover the route. Also not too sure if LTs are allowed in Ham unless they turn at Kingston Fire Station. LTs have appeared on the 671 before when it was under RATP so that will not be a problem. Some of the LTs are borrowed from the 415 and probably another QB route (I think the number is 18) so they will return once the route is electrified. However, I strongly believe one will remain as the 415s PVR does not warrant the entire 18 batch and QB have enough spares to fill the gaps.

Interesting to see how long this lasts given the volatility of the UK market and the cost of living crisis affecting numerous bottom lines across various industries although fixed rail contracts should keep them profitable for a long time.

Somewhat reminds me of when London General was sold to the management team, which in time became part of Go Ahead to become sister companies with London Central. Will be interesting to see what the firm's new name could become in time.

Will be interesting to see what the firm's new name could become in time. The new company is called Transport UK Group Limited. Whether Transport UK is the trading name or not remains to be seen.

Yet another train livery? Even under Abellio there was a real mixture of past companies livery still in use!

I would imagine they will in time as Abellio is used by Nederlandse Spoorwegen for their international operations, although this would be Germany now. The logo is also the one used by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. Perhaps a little rebrand will come in a few months.

Also, wasn’t the H98 going to take over the 142 ADEs to replace the last SPs?

Guess that means the days of the ridiculously cheap Abellio tender bids are dead and gone and some more realistic prices will happen!

Guess that means the days of the ridiculously cheap Abellio tender bids are dead and gone and some more realistic prices will happen! I think they've been bidding at realistic prices for some time hence why they do not have the same crazy rate of winning work like they once did

Hopefully the new trading name will be more interesting, although at the end of the day it's actual operations that counts. Looking forward in time to the new logo, bus interior¹, driver uniform, etc. ¹ - new and refurbished examples
