A reliable source has said that the 415 buses will be based temporarily at Battersea to allow Walworth to store more of the new electric buses prior to the C10 conversion. It's been said that drivers will still sign on at Walworth but will collect/return buses to/from Battersea... similarly to Arriva's 157 arrangements between Norwood and Thornton Heath. This could perhaps mean that the odd swing door bus from the 24/27 may appear on the 415. I've got a question by the way. How come the LTs on the 3 have visible running numbers yet not on the 159? I'm aware they're from different depot but I would have thought the same operation would be universal throughout Abellio London. Interesting. Where will the C10's MMCs be stored once the electrics are in service? They can be stored anywhere ... storing electrics away from their power source is a bit trickier, as won't be able to be moved under their own power

I can see them going to the 290, but as for the rest of them I don't know. Perhaps the rest could be for the 117 if Abellio win it back (dependent on whether the route receives a 2 year contract extension)

Obviously I’m sure there’s a good reason but I don’t get why they didn’t keep it. Like it’s extra space they could have to win more work. Definitely not the biggest garage in the world but it’s still more capacity to win more work.

So if you have paid to get extra capacity locally, makes no sense to keep!
