Unless it's on loan that should be one of the 414 allocated buses yes I did think that it might be going on the 414 so decided to check the history on LVF and it hasn't been used since Saturday and was parked on the 270 stand I thought it probably was route learning for that route. Another option is that it was a staff bus for the 414 drivers? I keep seeing a lot of Abellio buses out of service with lots of staff on board and not near the 270 or 285 routes. GW appear to be doing that along the 195 route as well, this was a couple of weeks ago flic.kr/p/2j2kQB3

Any photos of the smart hybrids for 270? As usual, here are some pics of the new MMC's for the 270 done by Abellio ready for the takeover tomorrow.

I can't express enough how much I like this engagement Abellio have with social media. It's absolutely fantastic. Really good to see the firm is so proud of their work. On another note, in the last year and a bit every Abellio London depot has got at least one new route operating for it (Routes 207/N207, E10 and E11 at GW, Routes 24 and 27 at QB, Routes 278 and 482 at WS, Route P5 at WL , Route 270 at BC from tomorrow and Routes 267 and 285 (from the end of June) at TF.

I can only see them gaining more tbh, the decision to move the 270 to BC was apparently something to do with better meal relief facilities found closer around there, however this does also give QB space to go for routes such as the 28/328

They must have room if the 270 was meant to be moving in even before the C3 left.

They must have room if the 270 was meant to be moving in even before the C3 left. On top of that the 49, 156 and 344 are still pending, results to be announced around August. This is bearing in mind that the 28 and 328 awards would likely have been announced by then.

They must have room if the 270 was meant to be moving in even before the C3 left. I didn’t say they don’t have room, but rather they must be nearing capacity. There is only so much space you can create to win routes and Abellio is not like other operators, GAL or Arriva for example, who have a spread of depots in much closer proximity to move routes around too if the win more routes. The Abellio depots are rather spread from each other which will ultimately negatively effect their ability to win routes.

For sure I understand that, was just simply pointing out that they'll probably have enough room to fit in either one of the 28 or 328 into QB although i don't know that for sure but I do expect both routes to go to the same operator whether retained or not.
