HV280 out on the 202, a very rare appearance on this route, maybe just once or twice before? I saw it earlier and here it is at the Royal Standard departing for Crystal Palace: You mean a HV on the 202? Think it happens quite regularly since Arriva took over the route.

Not too uncommon but probably correct to say it's HV280's first appearance there

I saw it earlier and here it is at the Royal Standard departing for Crystal Palace: I saw it yesterday when in my car and knew it was HV280 from far lol it’s refurbishment gives it away. This has had blinds for Route 202 as well as Route 432 since 2022 just rarely used it’s never really allocated by the Shunters to Routes 202 & 432 because it’s not on the list they know that it has blinds however it states HV400-412 have 432 blinds even though HV396-399 also have 432 blinds and HV386-412 202 blinds. At the moment HV281-285 only have 2 & 249 programmed and until they are updated for more routes then they cannot go on anything else in addition HV281-320, HV386-412 will all be done to the same specification mentioned in LOTs which confirms the 67 HVs being done to that spec. Ever since being at N I notice they like doing things in order of fleet number rather than just selecting random buses. All the 432 drivers know the 400 series have blinds so whenever looking for a bus if needed they will take one out saves buses with the wrong blinds going out. Compared to when I was at DT there were a selection of random DWs that had 301 blinds causing mass confusion for a long time until they were all reblinded. I even kept my own list of what double decker has what route at DT on my phone whenever a bus received an update because of this… Checking the LVF history it was used first used on the 09.01.2023 also 15.04.2023, 04.03.2024, 26.05.2024 and of course 22.08.2024.

Thanks for all the replies re this thread and yes I was referring to the bus HV280 being rarely seen on the 202, not just HV's. So only five times on the 202 in however many hundreds of journeys this bus has made over the years, that is pretty rare. When I saw it I jumped off the 53 I was on just to get a shot of it. It reminded me when Go-Ahead ran the 202 with an all Gemini 3 fleet, it made me feel all nostalgic!

Also looking at your picture it’s N 247 the last bus out so likely to be a HV is not HT is available.

SEe303 on the D3 - interesting that a 10.9m version is used on the route!

After a year out of service, TE1423 is back in service. It was last on the 240 but has now moved to UX and is on the U3?
