probably won’t happen but don’t T drivers cover duties sometimes on 97 & 179 I don’t think so. yes they do… been happening for years since the 97 & 179 moved out from T, with 3 Leyton buses this year on each route in fact covering mileage.

Looking at history of the routes at T I see the E400 Citys haves spread across all the routes bar the 215 and N55 more than likely it will happen on the 215 very soon hopefully happens on 97 at some point too cause it has 97 blinds (maybe through one of them odd T workings) It was reported here they don’t have 97 blinds. The new blinds have the following routes. 20, 26, 55, 56, 215, 257, 275, 616, 657 & N26

Looks like it’s been subbed. The 689 crosslink. Yes the 689 driver was probably type trained, then a relief driver takes it around 4:30pm, not type trained obviously EDIT: I just checked the new schedule, there is actually no relief driver taking it at 4:30pm, it continues on but the garage probably needed the bus

Now they’re appearing on the 4 I hope this means the 8 remaining 1.5 year old WDEs finally make an appearance in service! Can’t recall any other vehicles that have been waiting so long to enter service (excluding IEs as they have been out on the road on trials)

Yeah I guess probably since the 4 has now been confirmed to be using WDEs, they can use the delivered batch and for early conversion, while the newer batch ordered for the 4 will then be diverted onto routes like the 83/297 which are not ready for conversion yet due to issue with charging infrastructure.
