130 seems to dropping off iBus between Norwood Junction and Thornton Heath. Well the last 2 have. Inadvertently working a match day schedule? Another one is just about to enter the dead zone ... Let's see what happens
Yep 8195 has joined 8191 & 8860 entering the iBus Bermuda Triangle, although 8191 has emerged back out.

12431 YX67 VBJ - 179 covering mileage for tonight What do you meam by "covering mileage"? I've seen this phrase before and it is clearly short-hand for something, but I don't get it.

Not sure in this case but usually it means another garage is covering a trip or rounder or even a whole duty on the route in order to reduce lost mileage due to a variety of cases at the "home" garage (ie too many NSBs, no drivers available etc. There's a couple of drivers based at Q at night and get put on quite a few night routes which run from other GAL garages to reduce amount of mileage lost, even if it's just half a trip, they get sent out.

It is what it sounds like lol… Covering mileage for buses throughout the day that went defective or broke down etc etc… Could be any reason why some buses will no longer be out on the road. Thus a spare bus gets sent out to cover when needed. This example Leyton covering a duty on the 179 of which Barking wouldnt have had an avaliable bus for it

Yes this will be a regular occurrence over the coming months, the 689 will be ES run, after it changes to 250 and it gets to the driver changeover, the next driver will be given a T bus
