HA24 on the 64 289 to Ashburton Park, Lower Addiscombe Road - I’m all for detailed blinds but even I think this one is a bit overdone 2494 was involved in an incident with a car on Brixton Hill (the bloke who runs my local chipper said the car was at fault). It’s straddled two lanes and is causing congestion Simple ‘Ashburton Park’ is enough for that turn. These days TfL want every destination to have a qualifier 😂 Back when the 64 was at Go Ahead, their buses blinds showed "New Addington, Vulcan Way" instead of just New Addington which I love. Looks like they haven't adopted this to the new ES buses.

Looks like they haven't adopted this to the new ES buses. I really don’t know why it isn’t mandatory for 64/130 to display ‘New Addington, Vulcan Way’. Plain ‘New Addington’ is very vague and should only be used for routes 314/464 which terminate in the main bit of New Addington. The fact that there’s no difference in the blind for when buses are terminating at the tram stop or at Vulcan Way is foolhardy. When curtailed to the tram stop, I believe 64/130 should display ‘New Addington, Salcot Crescent’. I also think Homestead Way should be made an official curtailment on the 64. If it was up to me, the curtailments on 64 would be as follows: New Addington VULCAN WAY New Addington HOMESTEAD WAY New Addington SALCOT CRESCENT Addington Village Selsdon South Croydon STATION East Croydon West Croydon Thornton Heath Pond

Is any of this necessary? Well I was only replying to a post referring to me, so I was always going to respond where I was addressed… Plus, we are still talking about turns we observe , I’m just expressing some changes I would make to some of these turns we observe in 2024

Sorry for the late posting as I have been busy with work and being ill, but saw a 158 departing Stratford to Blackhorse Road Station on Friday. Quite intrigued as to where it turns around; via Pembar Avenue and Clifton Avenue or near the fire station using the W11's and W15's roads. capitalomnibus , any ideas? These roads seem unlikely. It could have just terminated there and gone to Edmonton or turned at St James Street and not made it there. The 158 already has a St James Street blind, so doubt Blackhorse Road would be used for that turn. Pembar Avenue and Clifton Avenue are wide enough for buses and Clifton Avenue is one-way, so it is possible for that to be a new turn. Otherwise buses would either run OOS to either Tottenham Hale or Higham Hill near the fire station. Either way I find it interesting as I've thought both the 123 and 158 would benefit from a Blackhorse Station Road turn.

Could’ve turned right into Forest Road then right into Palmerstone Road back to Walthamstow via Selbourne Road. Thought Palmerston Road bridge is too weak to accommodate deckers?
